Please do not attend Mount Road Surgery, pharmacy or hospital if:

  • you think you might have coronavirus
  • in the last 14 days you've been to a country or area with a high risk of coronavirus – see NHS coronavirus advice for travellers
  • you've been in close contact with someone with coronavirus

NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need medical help and advise you what to do. This can be accessed from www.nhs.uk. Call 111 if you need to speak to someone.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed dial 111 (Calls to NHS 111 are free) Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. A heart attack (central chest pains) a stroke (facial or limb weakness) or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
